Worker Camp Structures for Antakya Housing Construction

We Contributed to Hatay's Reconstruction with Our Construction Site Structures

Hatay was one of the cities most affected by the February 6, 2023 Kahramanmaraş earthquake. The earthquake, which saddened us all, is now behind us, but the healing process continues. Led by our government, the reconstruction of Hatay continues uninterrupted under Emlak Konut GYO.

As part of Hatay's reconstruction process, we completed and delivered the construction site camp structures project, which will be used throughout the construction phase of the 1,390 residences planned for Antakya. The structures we built on the construction site with our panel system prefabricated and new generation container model consist of 9 blocks. The construction site structures, with a total area of 4,670 m², include 14 separate container units in addition to the 9 blocks.

700-Person Worker Camp Project

We completed the field installation of this massive 4,670 m² project, which mainly includes office, dormitory, and dining hall buildings, in just 38 days. The dormitory buildings in the worker camp project have a bed capacity large enough to accommodate 700 people at the same time.

‘The Project that Carries the Unity of the Century in Hatay to a Secure Tomorrow’

The housing project, which began construction within Emlak Konut GYO, continues with the motto ‘The Project that Carries the Unity of the Century in Hatay to a Secure Tomorrow’. Within the scope of the project in Antakya, 1,390 residences will be built on a 77,720 m² plot of land with a total enclosed area of 224,454 m². The project aims to contribute to the return to normal life for our citizens affected by the earthquake by ensuring they have safe housing.

Our Buildings in the Hatay Public Housing Project Construction Site Group

Two separate building models were chosen for the construction site buildings we set up at the project site in Antakya, one of the central districts of Hatay province. Our new generation container model was predominantly used in all dormitory and office buildings required by the construction site. The dining hall building and the boiler room building, which has an internal ceiling height of 3.5 meters, were constructed using the panel system prefabricated building model.
