TOGG - The Turkish National Car

“Türkiye Otomobili Girişim Grubu Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.”, with the short name TOGG, is Turkey's Automobile Initiative Group Industry and Trade. Founded on 28th June 2018, TOGG's investor partners include BMC, Zorlu Holding, Anadolu Group, Turkcell and TOBB. The car designed by the initiative was introduced to the public for the first time on 27th December 2019, at an event held in the IT Valley in Gebze. The design of the introduced vehicle was carried out by the Italian design office Pininfarina. Original changes were made on the designed concept. 121 engineers took part in the design. Its battery is integrated into the vehicle platform and is designed to pass the Euro NCAP crash tests with 5 stars. It is aimed that the first produced vehicle will be put on the road in 2023. It is planned to produce 5 different model vehicles until 2030.
