Sultangazi Cebeci Primary School

We Completed Cebeci Primary School Building in 28 Days

As Karmod, we added a new one to the school buildings we built. We completed Sultangazi Cebeci Primary School, which we designed and built with prefabricated building model, in 28 days and put it into the service of education.

We carried out the project in Cebeci neighbourhood, which gained neighbourhood status while it was a village in Sultangazi district of Istanbul. It was decided to build a new school building under the leadership of Sultangazi Municipality instead of the existing school building, which was old and risky in terms of earthquake. We built the new school building, which was designed as a total of 5 classrooms, 1 of which is a kindergarten class, in full earthquake safety with our Karmod expertise and brought it to education.

A total of 148 students can study at the same time in 4 classrooms of Cebeci Primary School, which started to serve for the first time in the 2022-2023 academic year. In addition, 30 students are undergoing the preparation process for primary school in the kindergarten. With the completion of the building, according to the new education system shaped on the basis of 4 years, the first four grades and kindergarten-age children in Cebeci Neighbourhood have gained the opportunity to study.

Education Fully Safe in Prefabricated Primary School

Cebeci Primary School is located in the centre of the neighbourhood. Educationin the new school is carried out with the confidence of the earthquake-resistant prefabricated building system.

The total size of the school, which is built in a beautiful garden surrounded by greenery, is 490 m2. The entrance to the school, which is designed in a rectangular plan, is provided by the entrance from the patio area located on the front facade near the right.

At the entrance to the school, the classrooms are arranged around the corridor in L plan. There is a classroom on the right side of the entrance. Adjacent to this classroom towards the back is a kindergarten. Two of the other classrooms are lined up to the left of the L corridor towards the front. There is another classroom at the back left side facing the side façade. The design of the classrooms makes good use of windows for natural light.

The teachers' room and the principal's office are located respectively in the part of the corridor facing the back façade. There are male and female teacher WC areas and 1 disabled WC area towards the centre. Again in this section, there are 8 separate WC units for the use of students. There is another room for the manager of this section from the main classroom.

About Sultangazi Cebeci Village

Cebeci Village with its new status Cebeci Neighbourhood is connected to Sultangazi district of Istanbul. It is the largest neighbourhood of the district with its geographical area. It is neighbour to Sultançiftliği, Malkoçoğlu and İsmetpaşa neighbourhoods in the west, 50. Yıl and Esentepe neighbourhoods in the south and Habibler neighbourhood in the north.

There are many forested lands and quarries in Cebeci. There are many historical artefacts in Cebeci, which was previously a village inhabited by Greeks. Today, the majority of the neighbourhood is inhabited by citizens who migrated from the Black Sea and Central Anatolia regions. In recent years, Cebeci has also received migration from our eastern regions. Depending on migration, electricity, water and road problems may occur.
