We Added New Container House Projects for Refugees in Germany

Our container house construction projects for refugee accommodation continue throughout Germany. In this direction, we have added a new one to the refugee container houses in Stuttgart.

With the project carried out in cooperation with German NGOs and the municipality, the construction of 22 houses of 2+1 type was completed.

Housing Production Accelerates with Modular Combined Container Model

In order to save time in the realisation of the project, a new generation container model was preferred. Housing construction processes are incredibly accelerated with the modular combined container model. The fact that the new generation container has weldless production technology makes assembly times very short. The installation of the project consisting of one thousand 382 m2 blocks was completed in a short time like 27 days.

The structures are prepared in disassembled Karmod, Istanbul, Tuzla integrated container production facilities. The disassembled container, whose production is completed and prepared with all materials, can be easily shipped especially in transport standards.

After the production, the structures transported to the project site in Stuttgart city could be installed in a short time with the advantage of modular combination feature. The modular container can be installed very quickly with its fully bolted and bolt-nutted structure feature. Standardised modular combination materials are produced in the factory and only installation is made in the field. No different building materials are needed during the assembly phase.

In Germany, which hosts a large number of refugees, solving the accommodation problem of refugees is among the most important needs. Non-governmental organisations play an important role in solving the problem. Municipalities also take measures to facilitate housing projects for refugees. Refugees who came to Germany after being affected by the Syrian war will live in the houses within the scope of the project.

The refugee houses built on a single block were designed as two storeys. 22 houses in 2+1 apartment type were placed on both floors. In block system refugee housing, narrow spaces can be utilised and more houses can be produced. Built on a 691 m2 ground floor, the total usage area of the building is one thousand 382 m2. The refugee houses block has a total of 22 apartments, 11 on the lower and upper floors. The apartment sizes have a plan of 58 m2. The plan layout was made according to the best use ergonomics. There are toilets and showers in each house designed in American kitchen style. In addition, laundry sections open to common use on each floor were included in the general plan. 96 container units were used in the construction of the building, which provides a solution for refugee accommodation. With the advantage of the modular container system, the units could be assembled in a very short time on two floors.

Container refugee houses also stand out with their ergonomics of use. Sandwich panel insulated wall and roof panels facilitate container house air conditioning. Air conditioning saves budget with energy saving.
