We Established Shelter Container Houses for Syrian Refugees in Germany

We continue to "stand by humanity in difficult times" with our container refugee houses. We completed the project consisting of container houses for refugees in Detmold city of North Rhine-Westphalia state of Germany. Container refugee houses will host Syrian asylum seekers in the country.

We completed the project, in which our new generation container model was used, in a short period of 32 days with our fast production and installation superiority. The project, which includes 22 container houses as well as social facilities, has started to be used by refugees.

We Prepare Comfortable Houses for Refugees to Make Them Forget Their Victimisation

As Karmod, we produce fast dwellings with the best ergonomics for the sheltering problem arising after disasters or refugee influxes. All of the houses we produce with our new generation container model stand out with their comfort of use. In accordance with our principle of 'standing by humanity in difficult times', we endeavour to make refugees forget the negative traumas of the war they have experienced. Our approach in this direction constitutes the main axis of our refugee shelters.

We have completed the project in the Schlangen region of Detmold with the same sensitivity. We have prepared houses in the best comfort for 22 families who will benefit from the project and whose shelter needs will be met. We wish that the trauma caused by the war in families will end in another country where they have to leave their country and start to live. We hope that the most important need for a refugee, shelter, will be solved and the traumas caused by the war will be forgotten in a short time.

In order to realise this meaningful and special project, a good cooperation was made with non-governmental organisations and local municipalities. With the fast installation of long-lasting, safe container houses, the best ergonomics and practical solution to the refugee shelter problem is brought.

Within the scope of the project, the production and installation of 22 container houses consisting of 6 blocks for the shelter of refugees was carried out. For the project, 56 container units were manufactured in our Tuzla, Istanbul facilities. The containers produced with the demountable system were shipped to the project site in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia by road transport. The installation of the houses was completed in 32 days with the advantage of the disassembled system and the ready-to-sit hall was brought ready for occupancy.

The blocks were designed as one-storey and two-storey in three different sizes. Two units were produced from each plan. Accordingly, 2 64,4 m2 single storey, 2 128,8 m2 two storey and 2 257,6 m2 two storey container houses were installed.

We have completed the refugee accommodation container houses project, which will set a good example for the refugee accommodation problem in Germany. We have set an example for the projects of municipalities and non-governmental organisations in this direction.
