We established the hangar interior office building of General Aviation Inc., which was founded as Turkey's first private aircraft rental company in 1983. The container office, produced in modern facilities with Karmod's new generation container system, was installed inside the company's hangar at Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport. The management of the 60,000 m2 area where General Aviation Inc. operates in Sabiha Gokcen is carried out from the company's new office building.
The container office building built in the company's hangar at Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport has a dynamic addable project example. The advantages of the addable dynamic project were utilized to the fullest by General Aviation Inc. in this office building. The initial project was designed as a two-story building in October 2016. An office building of 168 m2, consisting of two floors on a 84 m2 base, was built and was extended to three floors by adding another floor in November 2017.
During the initial setup, the lower floor of the building was used as the technical department and the upper floor was used as the management office. As the company's fleet of air vehicles, such as airplanes and helicopters, increased over time, the need for additional office space arose. The modular feature of the new generation container made it much easier to construct the required office space. The availability of high elevation levels in the hangar area turned out to be an extra advantage in the preparation of the new office floor. The third-floor project was designed while adhering to the existing 84 m2 base. The units, which were completed in Karmod facilities in just one week, were shipped to the hangar at Sabiha Gokcen Airport. The installation of the additional 84 m2 floor was completed by Karmod professionals in just three days. The management office, previously located on the second floor, was moved to the third floor with the addition of the new floor. The second floor was assigned to the technical department. With the addition of the top floor, no space was lost from the base, and ground space was saved. In addition to the technical working areas, the ground floor of the General Aviation hangar office building also houses a cafeteria.
