The Road Service Office Building of the Ministry of Transport in Djibouti

Karmod continues to realize construction projects in over 130 countries with its leadership in the sector. We have added another one of our prefabricated building projects to Cibuti. We completed and delivered the customs office for the free trade zone, which was commissioned by the Cibuti government. Our prefabricated office building will serve as the central building for customs officials in Africa's largest free trade zone. The free zone operation is carried out by the Cibuti Ministry of Transport.

Within the scope of the project, our panel system prefabricated office building, which we built, has a size of 185 square meters and is considered one of the luxurious concept offices in the country. A stone-patterned cladding was applied on the exterior with a parapet application on the roof for the aesthetics and insulation of the building. The customs office, whose prefabrication was realized in Turkey, was shipped to Cibuti port by sea and then transported to the installation site. The installation was completed in a short time of 12 days by our expert teams prepared in the region on the day the shipment was completed. The prefabricated customs office has a customs team of 20 people.

Our ready-made office buildings, which offer an innovative style with modern appearance, fast installation advantages compared to traditional construction methods, are the most preferred building system for office needs along with housing in recent years. Prefabricated structures also have an important advantage of long-term use. The insulation applications in the wall and roof system provide energy savings to those who use the prefabricated building system. The new generation prefabricated structures, where all traditional welding applications are left behind, are extremely safe. High-strength special steel carrier systems that occupy very little space provide significant contribution to the indoor width. They can also be hidden between specially insulated wall blocks by occupying very little space. The narrowing indoor spaces in classic reinforced concrete structure models are eliminated with prefabricated structures. The widest and most spacious indoor environments can be prepared.

We have added another public service building that we have completed throughout Cibuti. The new building, which was completed in the city of Arta located in the northeast of Cibuti, was delivered to the Ministry of Transport officials. The office building built in the city, which is the capital of the Arta region, will be used by the highway teams affiliated to the Ministry of Transport. It is located around the N4 highway passing through the city. Access to the capital Cibuti from the city, which is the center of the Arta Region, is also provided by the N1 and N2 highways outside of the N4 that passes through the city. The Cibuti Ministry of Transport, which attaches importance to the maintenance of the N4 highway, which is located in an important position for the capital connection, decides to create a service point in the city. A decision is made to build an office building for closer road maintenance and renewal services. The Ministry, which contacted Karmod, requested an office building of suitable size for the service area conditions. The project prepared in the Karmod technical office according to customer expectations was presented for approval and made ready for production. At the end of the work, the 196 m2 office building was approved and put into production. The prefabricated building model was preferred for the highway regional office building. The prefabricated office, which was prefabricated in a short time, was packaged in a disassembled form and made ready for shipment.

The building components of the highway office were sent to the Cibuti port by sea container transportation. The building was brought to the installation site in Arta city after being taken from the port and the assembly of the building started under the control of Karmod supervisor.
