Kurtköy Sports Club Football Academy Facilities Building

We built a service building for Kurtköy Sports Club Football Academy. The sports school building, where the advantages of prefabricated construction system of fast production and fast installation are reflected, added value to the centre with its modern appearance.

We carried out this exemplary project in Harmandere Neighbourhood, which stands out with its new urbanisation model in Pendik district of Istanbul. The prefabricated sports school building, which was completed in a short time like 23 days, now serves from 09.00 am to 23.00 pm.

What is in Kurtköy Sports School Facility Building?

The single-storey building has a closed area of 322 m². The facility building has two separate entrances, one from the front facade and the other from the side facade. When you enter from the main entrance on the front facade, there is a large hall on the left. In this area, which is mainly used for cafeteria purposes, there are trophies expressing the achievements of Kurtköy Sports Club. At the same time, branded products of Kurtköy Sports Club are also sold.

There are two separate executive rooms on the right side of the main hall. From this area, the rear changing rooms section is accessed from the centre. The changing rooms are arranged left and right around a wide corridor extending from the centre to the back. There is also an exit door from the front section of the changing rooms corridor to the left directly to the astroturf. On the right side of this centre section, there are washbasins with two separate toilet units for the management.

The changing rooms extend towards the back with 4 on the left and 4 on the right. There are also 4 showers and 1 toilet cubicle in each changing room. There are 24 showers and 8 toilet cabins in total in 8 separate rooms.

The parapet application on the upper part of the facility building, where the cafeteria section is surrounded by glass walls, added a different atmosphere. While the little ones are receiving football training on the carpet field of the facility, their parents can watch them from the glass partition hall.

In the daytime, Kurtköy Sports Club Football Academy trainers provide football training to the little ones. In the evenings, adults enjoy football on the large astroturf field with a capacity of 11 by 11 players.

Children aged 6-12 receive football training at the Kurtköy Sports Club Football Academy and show their talents. In the evening between 19.00-23.00, adults have the opportunity to play matches with 11 by 11 teams on the 60x90 metre large astroturf field.

Kurtköy Sports Club was founded in 1992. The club is affiliated to the Turkish Football Federation. Kurtköy Sports Club became the champion of Turkey in the U-16 category in 2023.
