Hobby Garden in Dereağzı

We constructed the facility buildings of the project, which was implemented by Beylikdüzü Municipality with the slogan "You can have a hobby garden to plant and harvest.

Within the scope of the project, we have completed the installation of two separate buildings, one of which consists of 161 m² and the other 81 m². We completed the installation of two separate buildings consisting of management office and hobby garden rooms in a short time like 18 days. In the hobby garden, which continues its activities today, different citizens residing in Beylikdüzü district perform their hobbies every year.

Hobby Garden Facility Building

Beylikdüz Municipality Hobby Garden operation facility building consists of a 161 m² prefabricated office building. There are 6 separate working rooms in the office. There are two other rooms in the facility building, one of which is used as a system room and the other as an archive room. Along with the kitchen, 2 toilets and 1 shower are other parts of the office.

The prefabricated facility building is used by the managers who manage the hobby garden of the municipality. Among those working in the facility is the gardener who supports the guests of the hobby garden.

19 m² Hobby Garden Rooms

The guests of the hobby garden change every year. Every new year, hobby gardens find their new owners with the selection made among the applicants. In the hobby garden, there is a separate 81 m² building with 4 separate hobby garden rooms. There are 19 m² hobby garden rooms in the building, each of which is 19 m² in size. In these rooms, there are areas where guests coming to the hobby garden can put their materials.

Beylikduzu Municipality Hobby Garden

Beylikdüzü Municipality Hobby Garden is located in the Hope Fruit Forest, which is established on an area of 15,000 m² in Dereağzı Neighbourhood of the district. The facility has 133 hobby gardens, each 15 m² in size. Applications for the hobby garden are received in February of each year. After the lottery, 133 separate hobby gardens are allocated to new owners for 12 months. No fee is charged for the allocations made by lottery.

Hope Fruit Forest and Hobby Garden Project

Within the scope of the Hope Fruit Forest and Hobby Garden project, fruit trees were planted for the first time in November 2017 on an area of 15 thousand m². A total of 325 fruit trees of 16 species of cherry, cherry, pear and apricot trees were planted in the garden located at the level of Atmaca Creek in Dereağzı Neighbourhood Ömer Seyfettin Street.
