Keşan Energy Construction Site Staff Dormitory Project

This large-scale staff accommodation project, specifically designed to meet the needs of the energy sector, was implemented at the EnerjiSA construction site in the Keşan district of Edirne. Carried out as a joint venture between D-Teknik and Bektaş, the project was designed to meet the need for comfortable, safe, and organized accommodation for personnel working on-site.

The building complex, with a total usable area of 4,336 m², was constructed by assembling 146 container modules into 9 blocks. Thanks to the rapid production and assembly advantages offered by modular construction technology, the project was completed and made ready for use in just 20 days.

Dormitory structures, which aim to enhance the quality of life for workers in energy projects with intensive labor requirements, stand out for their durable structural system, efficient use of space, and rapid installation capabilities. The project successfully demonstrates the operational advantages that container-based construction solutions provide in large-scale construction site operations.

This project serves as a strong example of the advantages—in terms of speed, efficiency, and sustainability—offered by modular building systems developed to meet high-capacity personnel accommodation needs.

Why was this project chosen for construction sites in the energy sector?

In energy projects, having hundreds of workers on-site simultaneously makes fast and well-planned accommodation solutions essential. This project in Keşan ensured that personnel had a well-organized living space thanks to its layout consisting of 9 blocks, while its modular structure allowed it to be made ready for use in a short time. Such structures, which enhance worker satisfaction—especially during long-term field operations—are frequently preferred in large-scale energy investments because they can be deployed much faster compared to traditional construction processes.
