We Completed a 41-Block Giant Construction Site Building Project in Romania

With our construction site structures, we have become a solution partner for one of the largest road construction projects in Romania. We have completed and delivered 41 projects of construction site mobilization with a total size of 15 thousand 274 m2 at different sites in Sibiu city.

The construction site structures installed in the towns of Fagaras and Talmaciu in the city of Sibiu have taken their place among the large-scale construction site projects in Romania so far.

The construction site structures we have completed the production and installation of will be used in the highway construction project to be realized in the region. All units from management to blue-collar personnel will be accommodated in construction site structures specially designed for road construction sites.

Special Construction Site Structures for Harsh Climate Conditions

One of the most important features of the project is that the buildings will be used in the harsh climatic conditions of the region. Especially the region where the winter months are very harsh has a cold climate zone. For this reason, the climate characteristics of the region were taken into consideration in Karmod technical office. The selection of insulation materials was very sensitive for the best insulation and air conditioning comfort. For the best performance in the buildings, 100 mm thick rock wool insulation material was used in wall and roof panels. Special door systems and double-glazed PVC joinery provide extra insulation.

Smoothly Functioning Production and Installation Organization

Time is very important for transportation projects such as road construction and airports. Every moment is calculated. In the race against time, a flawless process is required. In Sibiu road construction site project, a smooth running process was created. Karmod's positive bonding with the main contractor company contributed greatly to the acceleration of the process. Priority structures were planned at the very beginning and their production was realized first. As the production was completed, the containers and prefabricated construction site buildings loaded on the delivery vehicles were taken to the project site. Under the leadership of our Karmod supervisor teams, field installations progressed smoothly. This process ran smoothly until the completion of the installation of all blocks.

All Building Group of the Project in 41 Block Construction Site Buildings

The building group, which we produced specially for the road construction project in Romania, included all the structures that may be needed in the project. The construction site building group included a total of 41 independent buildings, 36 of which were single-storey and 5 of which were two-storey. The total area of the construction site building project was realized as 15 thousand 274 m2. Site management office, site supervisor office, field engineer offices, OHS office, engineer dormitory and dining hall buildings, worker dormitory and dining hall buildings, guesthouse, laboratory building, canteen building, recreation building, training hall, security building, laundry, warehouse were among the buildings prepared within the scope of the project.
