Galatasaray Club started playing their matches in Türk Telekom Arena Stadium, which was initially named Türk Telekom Arena Stadyumu, in January 2011. The club played their first match at Ali Sami Yen Stadium on September 24, 1944, against Süleymaniye. After the opening of Nef Stadyumu, the historic Ali Sami Yen Stadium was demolished.
