Two Forest Management Directorate Buildings and Lodgings Under One Roof

In this project, which is one of the regional management building projects, we have realised the management area and lodgings of two separate enterprises in a single building. With the project, Söğüt Forestry Management Directorate and Ertuğrulgazi Forestry Management Directorate in Söğüt district of Bilecik province have gained new buildings.

4 lodgings were also included in the business building project, which was completed in a short period of 37 days. The project set a good example for the forest management chiefs located in rural areas.

The building of Söğüt Forest Management Directorate, where Karmod expertise is reflected in the ergonomics of use, was designed as two storeys. The total size of the operation building is 531 m². The entrance ground floor of the building was planned as the chief offices of two separate enterprises. The entrance to the management floor is provided from the centre by passing through the garden in the front street direction. There are 9 separate working rooms in this 254 m² section. There are 2 separate office rooms for Söğüt and Ertuğrul Forest Management Chiefs. While 2 more working rooms were allocated for both chiefs, the system room and kitchen were planned for common use.

The upper floor of the operation building was reserved for lodging. Entrance to the lodgings is made from the centre by passing through the backyard of the building. The total area of the upper floor is 277 m². When you go upstairs from the common staircase, 4 separate lodgings were positioned in 2+1 plan. Each of the lodging houses has a 65 m² usage area. The advantages of the prefabricated building system were utilised in the lodging houses. As it is known, prefabricated buildings have insulated wall blocks. With its special thickness and column-free transition advantages, it has maximum width usage areas.

With the project completed in a short time in Söğüt, two different forest management chiefs started to serve in their new buildings as of the beginning of 2023. At the same time with four lodgings.

Söğüt and Ertuğrulgazi Forest Management Directorates

Söğüt and Ertugrul Forest Management Directorates serve in the new building located at 30 Ertuğrulgazi Street, which was built by Karmod in 37 days in Söğüt district centre.

Söğüt and Ertuğrul Forest Management Directorates serve under Bilecik Forest Management Directorate. Established in 1943, Bilecik Forest Management Directorate has 17 different Forest Management Directorates, including Söğüt and Ertuğrul Forest Management Directorates. Bilecik Forest Management Directorate works under the General Directorate of Forestry Bursa Regional Directorate of Forestry.
