We have constructed container office buildings for the Pakistan MİLGEM Project, which is being carried out between Turkey and its sister country Pakistan. The container office buildings, whose installation has been completed within the Karachi Shipyard, are being used by Meteksan's technical office, which installs Karinaya Mounted Sonar devices for the project.
Port and shipyard areas located by the sea require structures that are resistant to corrosion. Karmod container chassis, produced with a special painting system, prevent the structure from being exposed to corrosion. They can be used safely for many years. In addition, site plans in shipyard areas can change frequently over time. Karmod's new generation container model can be positioned in different locations on site and put into use. With these advantages, the new generation container provides the most practical office solution for shipyards and ports.
With our mobile unit feature, we accelerate the construction processes in port and shipyard areas. With our prefabricated structures, we set up offices within days or even hours without turning the site into a construction site. We save shipyard areas from heavy processes such as laying foundations.
The new generation container is manufactured in modern facilities using state-of-the-art machinery. Production speed on the machine and assembly line is incredibly fast. Large-scale office structures can be manufactured in units within the same day. Thanks to its bolt and nut connection system, it takes up very little space and can be shipped to overseas countries. No additional materials are required at the site of use. Thanks to the advantages of the bolt and nut and interlocking systems, installation can be completed within hours. After installation, the container office, which is ready for use, is handed over to the personnel.
The container office building we constructed in the shipyard in Karachi has been put into use by the technical personnel working on the installation of the Meteksan Karinaya Monteli Sonar.
The Pakistan MİLGEM Project is a joint project between our sister country Pakistan and Turkey. Within the scope of the project, Turkey's technologies in naval defense systems will be utilized.
Within the scope of the Pakistan MİLGEM Project, four corvettes and two offshore patrol vessels will be constructed simultaneously at the Istanbul and Karachi shipyards. The project represents a first in the history of the Republic and the defense industry for our country. For the first time, the developments and advantages achieved by our defense industry in the naval field are being shared with another country through this project. The fact that the project is being carried out with our sister country Pakistan is a source of particular pride for our country.
