BURFAS Emek Çamlık Park Cafe

BURFAŞ Emek Çamlık Café started to serve in the new building constructed by Karmod.

Çamlık Park, located in Emek neighbourhood of Osmangazi district of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, was renovated by taking care of it. Along with the arrangements such as walking paths and promenade area, there was another innovation in Çamlık Park. A café was opened in the park by BURFAŞ, a subsidiary of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, one of the brands of social facility management. The cafe, which was put into operation under the name of Emek Çamlık Café, started to serve the park visitors.

Prefabricated Café Completed in 13 Days

The construction of the Emek Çamlık Café building was completed in June 2022 when the park was taken into maintenance. Bursa Metropolitan Municipality took Çamlık Park, which has been located in Emek neighbourhood for many years, into maintenance in May - June 2022 for reorganisation. The park was completely renovated with recreation areas and walking paths. In this process, the construction of a cafe in the park was also included in the plan. The project design and construction of the cafe building, which was put into operation by BURFAŞ, was completed by our Karmod company. Built in a short period of 13 days with prefabricated construction system, Emek Çamlık Café building was put into service in June 2022 after the general maintenance in the park.

Emek Çamlık Park Café Added Value to the Park

The 91 m2 café building was designed and built in a design worthy of the new face of Emek Çamlık Park. The café, which is operated by BURFAŞ, sells products such as tea, soft drinks, toast and cold sandwiches. There is an outdoor café seating area in the outer front part of the café building, which has a large hall.

The back part of the cafe building is reserved as a kitchen area. The advantage of the prefabricated building system was reflected in the hall as width. The carrier steel poles hidden between the wall blocks made a great contribution to the width of the interior space. In the back right section, there is a male and female toilet and a disabled WC section. Special parapet application was applied to the upper part of the building to beautify the design.

About BURFAŞ

BURFAŞ was established in 1992 as an economic enterprise of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality. BURFAŞ, whose first establishment was shaped to organise fairs, started to operate parks and gardens in Bursa after the privatisation of the fair organisation department.

In 1993, it added printing to its structure with the offset facilities it opened. Continuously diversifying its service area, BURFAŞ undertook the maintenance of animals and shelters in the Zoo in 1998. Between 1999 and 2012, it added Havuzlupark to its service area. Today, along with parks and gardens, the Zoo, City Museum, Kültürpark ticket sales and box office control services and the City Hall are operated by BURFAŞ.

In 2000, with the decision of the Metropolitan Municipality to realise social, artistic and sportive activities, BURFAŞ included these areas in its activities.

The Story of BURFAŞ Emek Çamlık Café

With the decision taken in 2009, BURFAŞ started a new momentum in social facility management and started to rise. In the first stage, it started to operate social facility buildings, restaurants and cafes at 19 locations allocated by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality. In this context, Emek Çamlık Café was put into service by BURFAŞ in Emek Park in 2022.
