End to Building Restrictions in Tourism Areas

The steel construction system, with its prefabricated model, can be installed without being affected by construction restrictions in tourism areas. The prefabrication of our steel structures is carried out in modern facilities equipped with Karmod's state-of-the-art machinery. They are easily shipped to any part of the world in accordance with international transportation standards.

Steel structures, which are only assembled at the project site, eliminate on-site production. The noisy on-site construction processes common in other models are eliminated in the steel structure model. Due to the noisy and dusty on-site applications in traditional structures, construction restrictions are imposed in tourism areas. Especially during the tourism season, construction in holiday areas comes to a halt or progresses with significant restrictions. The silent assembly applications of the steel structure model can be carried out smoothly without being affected by restrictions in tourism areas.

Karmod Steel House, Boutique Hotel Solution on Corfu Island

The boutique apartment hotel we built on Corfu Island, one of Europe's tourism centers, eliminated construction restrictions. The construction of the boutique apartment hotel was carried out smoothly in June, during the busy tourism season in Corfu. The pre-production was completed at Karmod's modern facilities. The residential units, loaded onto a single truck, were transported to Corfu Island via ferry through Greece.

The installation process, which began with steel frames, progressed quietly and without any issues. The steel house, which is not affected by construction restrictions in tourist areas, provided convenience for the investor. The steel structure system enabled the apartment units required before the peak season to be prepared easily, with the added advantage of rapid installation within days.

The apartment hotel project was designed at the Karmod Technical Office, taking into account the architectural features of Korku Island. The project was finalized by incorporating customer expectations and then moved into production. The 74 m² residential units were planned as 2+1 apartments. The steel frames, excluding insulation materials, were designed with 15 cm exterior walls and 84 mm interior walls. A cassette roof system with a pitched roof was chosen for the roof structure. With a special application, the standard roof load capacity of 80 kg/m² was increased to 125 kg/m².
