We completed and delivered the new building of Akın Ertürk Anatolian and Science High School, which is branded with its name in Bandırma district of Balıkesir in the field of education, in 45 days. The school, designed with steel structure system in Karmod technical office, stands out with its long life, energy-saving insulation superiority and earthquake safety.
The 912 m² school, which was built using a light steel system, was built on a 3,500 m² plot. Akın Ertürk school has 20 special classrooms. The classrooms of the school, which determines a special education method with the minimum number of students, stand out with their ergonomics. In our safe steel school system, the classrooms were prepared with a special project according to the standards for educational ergonomics.
In addition to 20 classrooms in Akın Ertürk School, there are independent sections with areas such as principal's room, teachers' room, laboratory and library.
Akın Ertürk School, designed as a single storey, has a height of 3.25 metres. With this measure, the minimum height of 3 metres was exceeded for a spacious educational environment. The school, designed in a rectangular shape, was shaped according to the dimensions of 18,75x50 metres. The advantages of the steel structure system were utilised for the full earthquake safety of the school. By adding wall steels to the main carrier steel poles, the building safety was increased to the best level. The steel system in the walls was continued on the roof and the building was covered with steels on all sides. The steel school, which will provide education services to its students for many years, has been made fully earthquake safe.
The story of the school started with the decision of Akın Ertürk, who started his career as an educator at the age of 23, at the age of 27. Ertürk entered the sector by opening a private education course in Bandırma.
With his unique practices, he put forward an understanding that attracted attention in private education. The young dynamic model and innovative system gave its fruits in a short time.
