We Contribute to the Reconstruction of Adıyaman with Our Safe Houses

With our new generation housing, we produce safe homes that accelerate housing construction times. February 6, 2023 We continue our support to meet the housing needs of Adıyaman, one of the provinces affected by the earthquake.

We contribute to the reconstruction process of Adıyaman after the earthquake with our safe, long-lasting prefabricated houses. In this direction, we completed and delivered a new housing project consisting of 18 houses in Adıyaman city center.

Upon the demand for 2+1 apartment type, a study was conducted at Karmod Technical Office for the project. In the technical study where expectations were also taken into consideration, it was suggested to use 64 m2 single and 136 m2 twin flat types. In 136 m2 twin houses, 2 separate houses in 2+1 apartment type were placed side by side. The project preparation process was completed by combining 6 of the 18 houses with 64 m2 and 6 of them with two separate 2+1 flats of 68 m2 in twin plan under a single roof.

After the project approval, production of prefabricated houses started in Karmod modern facilities. The houses started to be produced in the production line equipped with new technology machines. After the production, the prefabricated houses loaded on trucks with all the materials were taken on the road to Adıyaman.

Our Karmod assembly team was planned to be there when the trucks reached the project site in Adıyaman city center. The installation process of the prefabricated houses started with the unloading from the vehicle. Our expert installation team completed the assembly of the houses they started with wall blocks at the end of 32 days and brought them to the delivery stage.

Being Ready for Earthquake with Safe Houses

Our country is located in a geography that faces the phenomenon of earthquake fault lines from east to west. Dozens of small earthquakes, most of which we do not feel, occur every day in different parts of our country. Along with the ones we do not feel, large earthquakes also occur at close year intervals. Unfortunately, these large earthquakes cause serious material damage along with injuries and loss of life. The recent earthquake of February 6, 2023 is one of them. Affecting 10 provinces, the earthquake unfortunately caused many houses to become unusable along with injuries and loss of life.

As Karmod, we build safe houses that will take our cities away from the fear of earthquake. We offer a safe housing model by reducing the earthquake risk with our prefabricated houses with steel carrier system. Our houses in horizontal architecture are used safely in all regions with earthquake risk. With this project we realized in Adıyaman, we delivered 18 more safe prefabricated houses.

Our Adıyaman houses in the detached single-storey housing model are in 2+1 housing type. 6 houses were prepared as 64 m2 detached houses. In the twin plan, 12 houses of 68 m2 were built in 6 houses of 136 m2 in 2+1 type. The total number of houses within the scope of the project was realized as 18.
